WCIT 2019 will be held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex from October 6 - 9, 2019.
Referred to by locals simply as Hamalir (“the Complex”), the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex was built in 1983. With a total capacity of over 12,000 seats, it is the largest venue in the country. The Complex has hosted chess olympiads, sports championships, international song contests and a number of world famous performers.

Throughout its more than 35 decades the Complex has hosted Chess Olympiads, Sports Championships, International Song Contests and a number of concerts staring world names such as Deep Purple, Lara Fabian, Garou, Joe Cocker, including famous Armenians Charles Aznavour and Serj Tankian.
